Our Experience
Transmark-EDS is a Dutch Directional Drilling company and provides a broad range of advanced well-placement technologies, such as Directional Drilling, Measurement While Drilling, Logging While Drilling Services and the rental of drilling-related equipment. The company prides itself in bringing cost-effective solutions to projects under a range of directional borehole conditions. Transmark-EDS has very experienced office staff and its own pool of directional drillers and MWD specialists that have worked on various projects in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa and North & South America. This experience is not focused on any one particular area of operation only.
During the past 10 years, the company has been associated with some of the best-performing drilling projects in the North Sea and Continental Europe. Our clients include Oil & Gas, geothermal, gas storage and mining operators. We have drilled all sorts of well profiles, varying from S and J-shaped wells to very demanding types of wells, such fishhook and high-angle/large step-out wells. The important difference to us is that we focus on ‘simple’ drilling solutions with proven technologies and do not seek high-end, high-cost solutions. This is one of the main reasons why we have a proven 10-year track record of drilling offshore wells on set budgets. Drilling on the budget has been calculated for a client known to be drilling their wells more cost effectively than any other oil company on the North Sea. In fact, on average, the actual directional drilling cost is only 99%, compared to the budgets.
